Emma Motrico, PhD, is a Tenured Professor in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Seville (Spain). She previously held a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellowship.
Her research focuses on the prevention of mental disorders, particularly depression and anxiety, as well as the implementation of preventive interventions in healthcare settings. In 2024, she founded the Perinatal Mental Health research group at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBIS), where she currently leads the group as Principal Investigator.
She is also the Principal Investigator of the ERC Starting Grant e-Perinatal project and currently serves as Vice President of the Spanish Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health.
